Very nice noodle but you will have to line up for long. The pork was great!
The noodle it self was ok... But the pork meat that came with the soba was too sweet, definetly Not what i expected.
MoreGreat place to have some traditional Okinawan noodles with stewed pork! Queue might be long but the people finish their meals quick, or rather the locals.
Moregood
simple and perfect
A+ home made Soba. Absolutely delicious.๐
Hole in the wall, but totally worth it (and cheap). Staff knew enough English to make it simple to order and the food was awesome.
MoreThey close at 5:30pm! Noodles were good and we went at 5:25pm today and they were kind enough to still service us ๐
Moreunbelievable taste, especially noodle
Simple noodle soup, but the combination of the pork, soup, and the noodle just taste good.
MoreAbsolutely incredible noodles with some of the knots tender pork ever. A wonderful, cheap stop if youโre driving through the area. Thy only serve 3 things during lunch. Small noodles, big noodles and a mixed rice dish called Ju-shi. No vegetarian or halal/kosher options Iโm afraid.
MoreThe best Okinawa noodle you can taste here.
In general you can ignore reviews in English for any place in Japan (this one included). The noodles are spectacular, definitely the best part of this bowl of noodles if you ask me. The noodles are handmade and thicker than machine made noodles. Nothing is worse than soft, overcooked noodles but these are perfect - al dente. The broth is also outstanding. The pork is good but nothing special and the koregusu (ใณใผใฌใผใฐใน) is nothing different from what you'll find other places on Okinawa. That being said I'm very happy to eat here. It's over 100 years old and they clearly love their craft. One of the top 10 bowls of soba out of thousands I've had in the last 15 years.
MoreThe noodles, soup, and the meat is so yummyโฃ๏ธI love this place. Their mixed rice(ju-shi) is yummy, too. That sells out so go early๐
MoreSome of the best noodles I have ever had. Not too expensive and very yummy. Definitely eat here if you can.
MoreGood
Cosy place with tight seating. We went for lunch at around 1pm and we luckily got the seat straight away. They don't have much options just different size of the soba. Nice seafood soup as the base the noodle texture was good as well. There was quite a long queue when we leave at around half 1.
MoreNoodles is delicious... It's worth the wait.
One of the famous Okinawa soba place. It is good but I don't know why people wait 30 minutes or more to taste soba here. I stopped by because I was too hungry, couldn't find another place to eat.
MoreOnly for Japanese soba specialist, not for foreigners.
Only has 2 menus but worth it!
Not bad. The greatest of ๆฒ็นฉ้บต
I know it's super traditional and it's gotten white popular because of that fact, but I personally feel like it's nothing special. I wouldn't line up for it.
MoreSpecial taste
A MUST GO if you have a car. Pork was so tender..
They have very simple menu with only Okinawa-soba and Juicy. These are great and tastfull. It is a must restaurant.
MoreVery delicious Soba, one of the best I have eaten in Okinawa.
Very special home made noodle, not cooked till very soft but still taste nice. The pork was very sweet, taste a little bit closer to Malaysia/Singapore can pork. The soup is very saltish but flavoring. The spring onion was a surprise - I am not a spring onion person but this spring onion was really good. Add the chili soaked awamori (Okinawa sake) onto the pork or into the soup, the taste transform completely. The seat is a little too cramp, and due to popularity you may have to wait for some time for the seat.
MoreThere was only 2 choices, small or big noodles and a bowl of rice. There was a short queue of 30minutes outside the shop. Service was fast once seated. Noodles tasted good, but average with no wow factor. Recommended if in the area.
MoreNice soba! Plus mushroom rice
SuperbMust try
Always good but you have to be early to get the cooked tasty rice
Best soba I eat at Okinawa!! And the pork is very delicious. Unlucky the juicy rice is sold out when I was there.
MoreGreat little Okinawa Soba restaurant. We got there just before it opened at 1100 and by 1105 the restaurant was full. They have three menu items, a small or large bowl of Okinawa Soba and and bowl of takikomi rice. We had the the soba and it was delicious! Noodles are homemade and the pork and broth were also very good. Service is very fast, but if you don't get there before it opens you will be waiting in line. Just like many soba and ramen restaurants in Japan, they only stay open as long as they have food, so plan on going early or you will likely miss out.
MoreIn general their signature noodle menu is not bad, but not worth waiting over 15 mins. Soup is the best in my opinion. I never tried Okinawa noodle at other place but I would prefer the famous udon over this noodle.
MoreMy favorite place in okinawa by a long shot. Arrive at 11 so you dont have to wait in line. The noodles and rice are amazing!
Moresmall size is sufficient. small shop, yummy soup and reasonable price
Very good experience for me. Good to try!! :)
Traditional Okinawa soba bistro - good taste
The pork is just everything that i ever wanted. The soup is fine and the noodle is a bit crewing because i like soft noodle >_< overall is okay. ๐
MoreSo so
Don't miss this noodle place! Their handmade noodle is absolutely delicious. Their staff knows a bit English and there are only two dishes ( large or small bowel), no need to worry about ordering.
MoreClassic three layers pork with okinawa soba and soup is delicious ๐
I love the noodles' chewy texture and the savoury soup that comes along~ the pork belly was well-braised.
Moreso so
Very good soba. Love the authentic atmosphere.
Nice service with delicious Raman
Appreciate for your kindness :)Okinawan traditional soba was a little bit salty and not amazingly tasty. But, I think it would be the best okinawan soba cause I heard other restaurants' soba tastes awful..So if you wanna experience real Okinawan soba, this restaurant could be your best choice :D
MorePork is amazing and the broth tastes wood-smoked. Will def be here again.
It was delicious but waiting a long time
